Offenhouser Source

Post #1 by DrumRod » Tue Apr 09, 2019 10:50 am

To All - I was at the Long Beach Veterans Stadium swap meet last Sunday and found a vendor selling NEW Offy intakes, both C and DP! He gets them from Offenhauser directly and are USA made. Swap meet prices are C = $250, DP = $285 IIRC. Here is his information:

Wayne Davis

He told us that Offenhauser is close to producing a side cover for our engines and has plans on a valve cover!

That is all the info I have right now but will keep my eyes open for him at both Pomona and Vets Stadium swap meets....

Neat! A finned side plate and valve cover would be SWEET!

I already have a Clifford intake so the rest doesn't really interest me lol

Both of those are something that I'd love to have.

I've never been the biggest fan of the stock valve cover, due to how easily the bolt holes distort (too thin of metal), so hopefully it's a bit thicker.
A side cover would be nice too.

Those are really good prices on the intakes. They've jumped up into the $300s from online vendors.
