How much power are built 300's making

Post #1 by Twinturbor » Sun Apr 14, 2019 10:09 pm

I'm curios as to what people are getting for power out of their built 300's. I'm hoping to hit about 500hp and 850+ tq out of my boosted motor this year.

Can you tell us more about your build over on the "Turbo, Supercharger and Nitrous" section of the forum.

You would need to move the torque curve up in the rpm range quite a bit. Lots of cam lift in duration and the best flowing head you can find. You may find it difficult to drive on the street. Im finding detonation at 2000 to 2500 occasionally at 15 lbs of boost or 520 lb ft of torque with stock cam advanced.
Edit: i use pump 93 only
1996 f150 turbo 4.9 OBD2 M5OD 4x4 12 lbs on 93
1997 f350 351w cclb
