240 / 300 inline 6 spark plug size

Post #1 by old28racer » Tue Jun 11, 2019 12:24 am

Do all 240 / 300 / 300 EFI heads use the same 18mm spark plug size?

Do any inline 6 ford motor use a 14mm spark plug size?

All 300 six heads use the 18mm spark plug.
It is possible to install inserts to adapt 14mm spark plugs.

Thanks Paul, I new that my 300 shop motor with the 240 head used the same 18mm plugs that my old cracked 300 EFI head used. I was not sure if all 300 4.9L motor heads used 18mm.
