1974 Ford highboy flatbed project truck

Post #1 by ford9n2n » Thu Jul 11, 2019 6:32 pm

Factory flatbed registered through 4/2020. I got this truck off a ranch in 2007, pulled the 360 and installed a rebuilt 300. Probably less than 5000 miles since rebuild. Newer: Warn hubs, main driveshaft, exhaust and muffler, undercarriage ujoints and seals, transfer case seal kit, Francis wiring harness, recoated gas tank, V8 radiator. Additions: Offy C int. manifold, EFI exhaust manifolds, Autolite 1.21 carb., recurved Duraspark II ignition, upgraded power steering, 16 " tires. Issues: some body rust and bad floor pans (new Carpenter pans included), 2) no compression. Engine turns over quickly but won't fire. Valves won't hold their adjustment. I love this truck but I'm done. Call Jeff at (805) 462-1750. No texts, please. No CA smog required. Make offer. Many thanks to pmuller9 and Lazy JW for their help years ago.
