Post #1 by benchracer » Tue Aug 06, 2019 6:35 pm

Has anybody run two front efi exhaust manifolds on 300?

Hello,

Just did a quick measurement and the front manifold sits about 8 -1/2 inches away from the block. On my 73 f100 this would put it pretty close to the inner fender well if used on the rear 3 cylinders, but it might sneak by. Otherwise I don't see why It wouldn't bolt in place (?)

Check the lower mounting lug placement. I do not think the placement is the same front-to-rear. At least I encountered that using a carbed manifold. You may need to make custom clamping devices. No biggie.

I have seen flanges for 292 manifolds but none for 300. Would like one to bolt to head an drill for efi

Not done or run yet, but that's the plan here. As FTF says I had to cut one mount ear off and will have to make a custom clamping bar. I'm just now working on the turbo adapter plates, so will post more details as I complete the project.
