Maybe someone knows what the Argentine racers do to create so much power and RPMs from their Ford sixes. I'm sure it's very expensive. I would guess that a part of it is roller lifters, longer valves and springs for higher lift without coil bind. The info would be interesting. A 221 SP head would be worth buying. 221 SP heads were offered for sale new in Argentina a year or 2 ago. I see used 221 SP heads for sale now but they are not shipped to the US.

We did have a couple site members from Argentina on the site awhile back one "Fakundo_92" was here starting back in Sept. of 2018 for a about a year he was working on a 221 build. He posted lots of picture of short block parts and the stock 221 head and he also posted pictures and a link on the custom made Aluminum SP heads that they make for the racers. Here is one of his posts sadly the picture's don't seem to be linked anymore but his links to some of the racing class'es seem to work still. They had lots of support from the aftermarket industry for these SP 221's at least back at that time.

I can't remember the name of the other guy but he also posted a lot of info and I think he also posted links to these 221's used in their many different racing classes too.

I can get them imported cost is about $3200+ for an aluminum head as of today(Price keeps going up) depending on what work has been done. I can also get cast sprint head. That runs about $2400+

It's good to know the heads can be imported. Does the $2,400+ for the Sprint head include an intake manifold?

Cast.
