Okay....thanks for everyone's input as to why I had no 3rd gear....It was in fact "Sloppy Linkage" where the nuts are threaded into the front and back arms. When I slid the rebuilt 200 back in and bolted everything back up I guess I haphazardly tied the Linkage up but didn't go back and secure it properly. I could turn the nuys by hand. So I took it apart and de-greased it then slapped a little locktite on the threads and tightened everything down. Took it for a quick spin and everything works as it should. The column shifter is kinda sloppy but for sixty years old that to be expected and a project for another day. Most of you all assumed it was the Linkage and thankfully you were "spot on" ... and I'm grateful for that. Thanks guys !!
