Hi All, I have 2 generator questions for my 62 Comet
1) When tightening the wire onto the back of my generator (the large post on the back, battery?). The whole post came out. What does this connect to inside, and can it be repaired?
2) I'm looking at a rebuilt generator that is advertised for 60-65 Fords and Mercurys, but he lists it "for V-8's." I didn't know there was any difference between the 6's and 8's...it looks the same and it's 30 amps.
