Ford 144 cubic inch engine. Engine rotates freely, block not cracked.
I hope someone can use this.

Hello, i am curious about something on your 144 inline. i noticed on the side view picture, to the left of the distributor it appears a pipe is coming out of the block? Is that something specific to the 144s?

That's a downdraft tube to vent blowby gas to the grount; pre-PCV.

Hi, Farleyman I’m not able to answer that with certainty. It appears it is stock though. I can’t see where they’re have been any modifications to the engine. I rechecked how to identify the difference between the 144 and 170 and by all indications it is a 144 cubic inch Ford engine.
