this is close to what I was talkin bout...
I'd love to turbo the lill 144/2.4L.
Just as they jetson the six 4 eight I cont to say
"Any1 wanna give me an ol clapped out 144?"
Low compression, blow thru and some way to get some extra bottom end support~

Somewhere maybe Youtube I saw a draw thru turbo on a flathead V8. It drew thru a homemade externally mounted multi carb. log type manifold then blew into the flathead intake. Kool stuff!

for those that have motivation, the early 80's Buick/Pontiac/Olds Draw-Thru turbo setup is simply adapted to any straight six. With a little help from modern ignition control and AFR monitoring the simple carb'd setup can make the inline a new animal ...

. . . . .

or add a drive pulley and centrifugal compressor like Granatelli bros'

. .

have fun with ideas...

U all ways have the best pic archive.
In the last I C a long blk air intake tube. Lookin for 1 just like that but
would put the bend at the carb hat. Is it simple house piping? some alu?
made by an auto supply co? I'd like pretty much that item (may B 1 ft longer
a 90* on the other end...)

Now, a girdle B enuff bracin @ bottom end to beef up the lill 2.4?
I hear it's only got 3 mains

thnx for reply pb, all ways like what ur doin.

I think that's alu U painted.
I seek a "blk plastic" 3 inch rigid. 90* at end woud not B bad~

"...and exhaust tubing stock..."
U used (painted it too) 3 inch exhaust pipe? Thought of most other materials but that (scratch thru paint easy, may B cover it w/a coat of mat/clear 2K rattle can finish). Mine will hang over headers on the way to the top of the inner fender (no more regulator or solenoid there but a mega fuse'n heater hoses. (not sure - 3 ft? Hope that's not too heavy for the silicone joiners). An oe 'fresh air tube' goes behind the battery to the core support. Gota scheme to change direction and round to square @ that junction point (rearwards end of battery)...
