170 -200

hey guys

just a quick question...
when going from a 170 to 200 what differences can i expect to run into or does the engine just bolt straight in and everything fits back. Im currently running a 170 out of an XR -XY but got a mate takin out a 200 from an XR cos he putting in a 302. so the engines are from same or similar models.
Oh ive got an XL falcon.
and the trans is out of an XR wit syncro
any help will be appreciated

Unless it's an XY 200 (longer, taller block), everything should be pretty sweet.

The seven main 170 crank will go in a 200 block and make a 188 (screamer), but you'd need longer rods.
