This is a 1978 Ford 300 inline 6 short block. This is a standard bore block. This came out of a 1978 Ford F150 4x4 truck.
The Block engineering/casting # is: D5TE-6015-AA.
There is some very light vertical scoring on the cylinders. and some light surface rust areas on a couple cylinders. But there is very little if any ridge at the top of the cylinders.
It ran good when I pulled it. It had good oil pressure and didn't smoke. I pulled it to use it in another project. Life got in the way and the project never happened.
There is no distributor, water pump pulley or accessory brackets included. The bellhousing, clutch assembly, flywheel, block spacer plate and starter are included. The fuel pump, water pump and balancer are still on the engine and included.
This has been sitting in storage for around 10 years. This would be a great core to rebuild. The cart/dolly is not included
I'm asking $250.00. Sorry no shipping on this.
If you also need a cylinder head for it I have a couple 70's carbed 300 heads that I would sell for $150.00ea. Or I also have around 5 or 6 240 heads and I'd be willing to sell for $200.00ea.
I'm located in southern Minnesota. About 40 minutes south of the Twin Cities, 8 miles west of I-35.
