1V Adaptor/Spacer ?

I was wondering if there is any interest in billet adaptors/spacers that would replace the original 1V cast adaptors/spacers, for both 1.5 and 1.75 carbs? Or a billet adaptor that would let you bolt a 1.75" carb on a 1.5" manifold, and/or vice versa? I don't want to spend the money to make them, if they're just going to wind up sitting on the shelf. :

It would be interesting to see a 1V to 2V adapter that would let you mount the carb so that the float bowl would face forward using the existing mounting holes on the log.

That's easily done if you'll drill the bolt holes "sideways" a bit, like I did to mount mine squarely (but sideways).

The problem with mounting it float-bowl-forward is the throttle linkage, which is fixable with a cable throttle.

Surely CI can make an adapter that allows a DGV type carb to be mounted/oriented with the float bowl forward... It'd be pretty much the same thing as Stovebolt's, but with the flange clocked differently.

Billet 1v adapters might be a good product... one that would make a later style YF or 1101 fit the early heads. They would be pretty much flat, you might be able to have them done on a water jet.

A cheap easily mounted tri-power. I know I've seen pictures of something someone fabbed up.

You mean take the plug out of the end and mount a carb there?

No, cut holes like you would for an offy, without having to pay hundreds of dollars for an offy.
