Would this be a good 2 barrel for a 200? My headers are on order (6 into 2) and I'm ready to swap to a 2 barrel. Christmas is a wonderful time. My mom bought me the header, my pops is buyin' me a carb, and my grandparents are doing the full exhaust build for me. =) Awesome! I also need recommendations for a throttle cable set up. Links would be the best! Thanks guys.

I would say so I have the same carb on mine with duals and works great right out of the box. Bill has some tips on jetting them but I havent had the need my plugs burn a nice tan color and runs great. I used the summit adapter with my own home made one to mount the carb the way I wanted then just bent the original linkage. I have the electric choke kit on it too which I am about to trash because it can never stay set in the right position for the motor to have a fast idle when cold no matter how many times I adjust it the thing always go out. Also look for the street demon 350 looks like the holley but a little nicer I hear they use better internals but I'm not sure about the same price too.

Thanks dude sounds awesome. Got a sound clip of your car? I'm going to use duals with cherry bomb glass packs. I'm pretty excited about it. =) Gonna put chrome tips that come right out in front of the rear wheels, on both sides. True duals. Should sound awesome! =)

Should be a good carb for your combo, I'd recommend it. It made a big difference when I swapped from a one barrel to a 2300 on an otherwise stock 200. I got mine for 170 on ebay (used, rebuilt though) and have been running it for quite a while with no major problems. I'm using a side hung float version and used a 87-93 Mustang throttle cable with a bracket I made for a return spring (the one on the cable isn't enough to return it). Also am using a trans-dapt adapter, just tapped and plugged the extra two holes, I think it's actually for a chevy inline? Anyway, good luck!
