New to the board and new to Ford 6"s Got a remanufactured 200 that God only knows when it last ran. Not even going to try to start. I'm going to pull the head this week and need the stock numbers so I can tell how much is was bored and if worth rebuilding. It's not froze so hopefully the block is usable. Also, who sells a rebuild book for the Ford 6's so I can learn some more. Alway's wanted to build a six.

Stock bore is 3.68" and IIRC stock stroke is 3.126" and rod length is 4.715: length.

Compression height is 1.511"

If you pull pistons look on underside, mine had .010in stamped in them.

theres a 'the ford falcon six cylinder performance handbook'sold by the owners of this site that will tell you anything you want to know about hopping up your engine including whats the best junkyard parts.

Check in the tech and specs sections of the classic inlines web page. There is a ton of useful info there.
