A Anonymous Guest Jan 27, 2008 #1 Does anyone know what the timing and point gap should be on a 1968 I6 Mustang?
A anotherhassel Well-known member Jan 27, 2008 #2 the timing is 6 degrees btdc. The point gap is .030.

The 66 manual lists .025 for a gap. I have always had better results setting with a dwell meter which 37-42* at idle. Again this is from a 66 factory shop manual so I dont know if there were any changes for 68. I dont trust most other manuals.
