very nice.
What kind of disc brake conversion did you use?

Scarebird Classic Brakes(online) makes the kit. It uses some parts like rotors, calipers, pads that can be sourced local vs custom parts. Very happy with the results, cost was about 400 +/- if I remember correctly.

Yup, shutterfly wrks good 4 U/us…
Put the ol transm, linkage, shifter, etc on our "sell page" if U wanna get rid of it...

Looks good! What header and cold air intake did you use? Where did you get them and the exhaust?

Thanks!

The header, cold air iduction and exhaust are all from CI(Classic Inlines).
Header - is their dual outlet header that I had ceramic coated local
Exhaust - sold by CI also but its actually made by a company named Waldron's in Michigan for CI to match the header. I got their "imposter" mufflers with the kit, that sound great. They are along the same lines as a flowmaster 40 series. You may be able to call them directly, I spoke to a guy named John there who was very helpful in sizing the system and stuff.
Cold Air Induction - again CI sold the complete kit, but I think all are std Spectre parts except the carb hat. If you email nocancer@msn.com he may still have some of the CAI parts available. He is basically selling off all the leftover stock from CI. He may have headers still also, not sure. If you get the header, Waldron's still has the specs for the kits to match up, or you could have it custom made local.

That's also where I got the matching valve cover.

Any other questions let me know.

I added a dual master and power brakes, would there be anything I would need to do the scarebird conversion? I guess I could actually email him.

Also funny side note, I had the same carb return spring setup before the weber swap.

Nothing that I'm aware of that would be different with the power brake setup. The guy I talked to there was very helpful on the phone also. The kit uses chevy calipers/pads and honda rotors, which is nice for future replacement parts since they wont be custom.

Ya I eliminated the hose clamp and just welded a washer between the header tubes before having it powder coated to hook the spring on now. Much cleaner and works better since its pulling straight down now.
