250 X-flow 5speeds

when did they first introduce the BW 507 model 5speed? XE or XF? and when did they change to the BW T5OD?

The flimsy 5 I've got in the yard, is an XE generation 'box (1982). If the T-5 came out in XE time, it would have been later, surely...

The 507 came out in XE and XF 3.3's only. The T5 was first seen in the unleaded XF's
