2bbl on an 81,Capri

Mine's turned around the other way with the choke on the firewall side.I was going to try it that way but I didn't want to run my fuel line over the top of my valvecover and my throttle would have had to be adapted to push rather that pull.
I could have made my kick down lever work though, do you think I should flip around?
This is all just to play with for now. I'm planning a rebuild sometime this year if I get the time and I'm going to go all out on it I think. I'm planning on an aluminum head so I'll be replacing it all anways.
 
Hi, I didn't see these posts till I sent a request on another post for info on the following:
Will a H/W 5200 and adapter fit on a 1980 Mustang auotmatic? Looks like it will.
Linkage issues? Sounds like I can scrounge parts to make it work.
Clifford adapter seems the way to go, and one of the posts mentions a "direct fit" adapter. Which one did you use/recommend?
Can someone who has done the conversion to a 5200 H/W confirm the above for me, and any other advice would be appreciated.
