3 x 1 barrel

Do a search for cobrasix and go to his site he has a full review and instructions on how to install a 3x1. Th4e increased breathing and upper end puuling power is phenominal from what ive heard. If you decide to go this route go with the weber 34 1bbl the carbs clifford offer because they are simple to tune and low maitnence.

I'll agree-the upper end pulling is pretty amazing on mine. Like a freight train in comparison to stock. Get the intake through summit for a 100 bucks less and get the carbs from Pierce Manifold for quite a bit less as well. Get everything else through ClassicInlines!

how much did yours cost?

I can't remember the exact figures, but I think the intake was around 225 compared to 300 and change at cliffy. With the carbs, cam, pushrods, intake, header, dizzy, full exhaust, air cleaners and related parts, I think I have about 2 grand in the whole thing-not terrible for a great conversation piece.

I paid 203.99 for mine that I got from Summit a few years ago. They didn't have any in stock and I had to wait a little over a month for it to come in.

I did a search and couldn't find it listed now. They might not carry them any more but you might want to give them a call.

The part number was OFY-5970. This was for the later flat top log head. There are two types one for the older round top and one for the later flat top.

They didn't have it as a stock item when I called either, but since they deal in offy stuff, it was no problem to get. They said that offy only tools up to make these manifolds a few times a year and thats why they take a while to get-I'd say that offy would satisfy Summit before a smaller companies order.
