I think Mustangaroo is running either 500 or 650.
I can tell you with a T5, 260 Cam, 3.20 gears, headers, electronic ignition, enlarged valves, that it feels like my car uses everybit of the 390 CFM that I have right now on the 4V.
Question, are you planning to cut up the manifold for the 4V or just an adaptor? If adaptor, I'd say go with 390, if direct mount, 390 or 500 depending on what you do with the car. If you do more cruising and want mileage, 390. Otherwise 500 judging from mustangaroo's numbers.
