4 lug wheels

Hey everyone.

About 6 months ago I found a link to someone's inline Mustang site that showed all sorts of pictures from their rebuild, including some wheels that looked like Magnum 500s except they were for 4 lugs! On the page, he linked to a Mustang supplier that carried those wheels.

Now, I can't find the link to his site or his supplier. Does anybody remember what I am talking about or have the links?

If memory serves me right, it may have been called "Mike's 1967 Mustang Coupe"?

Thanks!

You should know some things about those wheels:

- They are not new wheels - they are restored buick wheels.
- They require spacers to work with our cars. The back-spacing isn't right.
- They are 14in wheels

Was it Mustang County International? Thats where I've seen them.

I thought they looked like chromed MG Rostyle wheels. Here's a shot of them unchromed. They have a 4 x 4.5" bolt pattern too, but they are narrow.

You could probably have those centers welded into a wider wheel (6 or 7") to get the offset you wanted and then chrome them to look like magnums. Stockton wheel does stuff like that.

I have never actaully placed an order for those...

But they also carry them in a 15X7 size.
So you can get them in a wider wheel... although when I called in June to place an order they were on Backorder... I have not called back because funding for them went into other areas at the moment.

Call them and let us know what you find out!!!

Wow, those look really nice, like Magnum 400s  . I really like the hubcaps on my 68, but it gets annoying. The other day one came flying off & into opposing traffic. Although it wasnt totally crushed, it was dented up quite a bit. Ironically, it now seems to fit on the wheel better... haha- that'll teach it for jumping off...
It'd be nice if they had Torque thrust looking wheels. Those would look nice with my 68 bodystyle I figure.

Wow, thanks for the quick reply. I'll give them a call, but it will probably be in two weeks (I am in the middle of packing to move).

I will post what I find out...

Try Ebay. Go to wheels and search on Datsun. The 240-260-280Z 4 lug wheels will fit.
These are on Ebay and are at $46 currently with 2 days left.

I saw a guy selling magnum 400 wheels...yep, 4 lugs...pretty cool.

Thanks again everybody.

Those Replicar wheels are pretty sweet. Its just that $1700 price tag is a killer. I also found another thread that listed some wheels by Panasport that are the front runners now.

By the way...Sorry about starting this tread in the wrong Forum. It probably should have been in the "Drivetrain, Suspension and Brakes" forum. My bad...

Anyone know where to get some chrome Torque Thrust look alikes or some Crager SS's in a 4 bolt pattern? I love those

The Magnum 400 4 lug rims. They are $650 at Mustang Country International. http://www.mustangcountryintl.com/
I saw them today when I stopped by to purchase rear spring shackles. They look good and I plan to buy them in the future (when I have $$$) :D .
