I'm trying to jet my new holley/weber 5200 setup on my 200/6.

I've had difficulty finding the jets I need. Luckily I've been able to buy, cajole, and order everything I need - except for the 075 idle jet.

None of the local shops can even order them, and local carb shops don't have them.

Spent the day at the junkyard yesterday trying to find one in wrecked cars, but none of them had the carbs still on them anymore.

The carb guys told me just to use a 70 and drill it out to 75, but I don't know what of bit to use. I measured (imperial style) and found that 1/64 is too little, and 1/32 is too much.

Any hints?

I asked him. He wouldn't sell me the 075 idle jet. Instead he told me that if my carb needed such a large jet, then the carburetor must be broken. In his words, there is no valid reason for buying one unles I had a super fat cam. I tried to tell him about my ford six, but he really wasn't terribly interested.

I ordered one from Redline instead.

There's a good guy on ebay who sells jets...mmmm..."Alfa1750" is the name, he's got an ebay store at: http://stores.ebay.com/ALFA1750S-CARBUR ... fpZ0QQtZkm

DGV/DFAV (Holley 5200) jets are $1.75 each, flatrate shipping $4.50. Only downside is it takes about 2 weeks to get here from Italy.

My stock 200 also likes a big idle jet, regardless of what anybody thinks.
