5200 to DFEV, worth the cost/effort?

I have a 65 200 with 5200 carb installed. It has an Isky 256 cam and a ported head off a 250, and Hooker headers with dual exhaust and turbo mufflers.

Anyone have any experience swapping the 5200 to a DFEV? Was it a noticeable improvement in power? Did the mileage drop?

As far as I can tell, other than calibration, the only difference between the 5200 and the DFEV is the booster venturi on the primary side. The 5200 has a dual booster which presumably helps the mileage, but cuts down on airflow. Does anyone sell the boosters separately?

Different booster venturis? From what all I've seen, they're the same carb with minor differences by application - but I'm no expert. See if Xecute will chime in, he's got a good deal of experience with them.
