Everyone,
For those that have been following the build up of my wife's '63 Falcon Futura with a turbocharged 250 with a C4 we've got new best ET and MPH numbers.
At 10lbs. of boost she was able to get down the track at a time of 13.41@101mph!
In an attempt to go faster I turned up the wastegate to get 12lbs. but the motor leaned out on the big end so next time we'll change out the jets in the Holley and try again to get into the 12's.
If you put the weight of the car (2802lbs.) and these numbers into a HP calculator you get 271hp at the flywheel. Not bad! I figure we'll need 300hp to get to the "magic" 12 sec. zone!
Thanks to everyone for all of their support.

Way to go Will, that's way cool 8)
Next time you go to the track, have someone bring along a vidio recorder. I'm sure we'd all like to see your wife's car run
I knew when I saw her in April that she be fast, the car that is...

Thanks Don!
There was a video taken by Trent over at http://www.turbomustangs.com He wants to make her car the "monthly feature". I'll post a link when he get's it loaded up.
I'm not sure which pass he taped, hopefully the quickest one. She made 6 passes on Sat. I think 4 of the 6 were in the 13's. 1 was a 14.02 or something and the last one was a bust due to her crew chief (ME!) getting greedy with the boost! Hehehehe! No harm done just a high RPM miss due to lack of fuel.
Later,
Will

This is not a x flow 250 yeah?
Why only 271hp is it loosing boost?
My old turbo x flow made closer to 400fwhp I never done a 1/4 pass But I did manage to smoke a boosted and intercooled twin turbo supra in a street drag

Will,

Its' on! out come my 4.11's and NOS jet kit! First one to hole a piston wins! Man, that is awesome times with new hardware. You gotta love the broad flat troque curve of a turbo. I'll have to make a few passes at carlsbad next weekend and give you a run for the money.
