65 200 termostat housing

I want to put a mechanical water temp gauge in my car but the big sensor want fit in the head.
Does anyone make a termostat housing that would accept a temp gauge hook up, or is there any other way to do this?

What brand of gauge are you planning on using? The Autometer mechanical gauge works great and the sensor fit with no trouble in my 200. Maybe you need to check out some different gauges.

Four Seasons makes a repro water outlet for the 200 that has a 3/8NPT bung on the outlet. Later model 200s used these from the factory to accomodate a ported vacuum switch. You should be able to find one or the other at a parts store or a junk yard.
