AC, PS BRACKETS FOR 223

Hello! I'm new to site. Member of a couple of Ford Truck sites. I realize this is a long shot, but here goes. I am in need of brackets to hang an AC compressor as well as a PS pump and an alternator on my 223 "6". It's my understanding that some of the 64 Galaxie's came equipped with the 223 with air and PS. (maybe some of the 61-63's also???) Any help in locating or advice on fabricating would be appreciated.

Think I have "spoken" with you over on the Slick site. IIRC, 64 or65 was the last year of the 223 in cars, so you have a narrow margin to find the factory brackets for the AC. You may possibly find an aftermarket setup for the AC unit as there were a lot of them sold. The power assist type steering was available from ford for quite a few years on both the cars and pickups, but I don't think there were too many sold on the pickups, so best bet would be to find one off a car. CPP now sells the power assist type steering for Ford & Chev pickups, you might contact them to see if they might sell the bracket only. Might also check with Vintage Air or other aftermarketers to see if you could get a bracket only for the AC.

Yes we've "spoke" before. I posted here in the hopes (slim I know) that someone might have/or know of a 64 Galaxie with a 6 and the power accessories.
I play to buy the AC unit from Classic Air who makes a unit specifically for the 61-64 F100 and the bracket comes with the kit. I will still have to deal with the PS, just thought if I could find the factory units it might be an easier fit. Thanks for your response.

Chances are still slim, but you could try www.car-part.com you might not find the part you are looking for right away but you will find out who still has some of the old cars & trucks.
