Chaz sent me a pm wanting to know the manufacturer of the yellow spark plug wires on my engine. Rather than respond with a pm i thought i would share the information to the forum.
The wire set is a universal 8mm resistance wire set for 6 cylinders. The accel part #4021. You have to cut them to the proper length.
Also if you buy the set get their accel crimping tool for the distributor cap terminals. The tool #170042 provides a cheap way of professionally crimping the terminals. William

i was admiring your engine and i was wondering what you have going on with your oil pressure gauge

The guage is a fuel pressure guage, the sending unit looking item is the oil pressure switch for my holley fuel pump. No oil pressure no electric fuel pump operation, it is a safety switch from holley. Thanks for your observation. William

Bill,

1st of all...I like it!!! Lookin at your distributer, are you running a Pertronix on that or just points?

Also,

Where did you get your aircleaner? Brand?

Later,

Doug

BTW guys you can also get Super Stock 8mm wires in blue, black or red....
Accel part numbers 4040B, 4040R, 4040K...they're universal sets and come with points style or HEI style caps.....

Oh! and cheap too, $23.88 @ Summit

Alex, thanks for the additional input on available spark plug wire options.
Doug, i purchased the air filter from.
Air Filters for 14â€￾ X 3â€￾ filter
WIX 42095
FRAM CA136
K&N E-1650
AC A-279C
PUROLATOR A60074
Big b auto 909-852-3584
S2195B 14â€￾ recessed base
866-392-2442
This lists all the filters for the 14 x 3 ressesed base filter. The filter i think was $19.95 plus shipping, & was made in taiwan.I scrapped the filter that came with the package & purchased a wix. Just wanted an americam made filter. This recessed base clears all my linkage & the float screw which sticks up from the float bowl. I have at least 1 1/2' of hood clearance on my 67 mustang.
I am using a pertronix I in the distributor. I have purchased a ford durospark distributor & have modified the total advance plate & have install lighter springs to get the centrifigual advance in by 2500-2800 rpms. I also per your recommendations got the msd 6al with rpm limiter along with the duraspark direct pigtail adapter. When i get the carbs fine tuned i will install the duraspark & the msd. Bill
