how diffeculd is it to instal a orginal 67 airco into a 66 ? i,m leaving the orginal dasch blowers into the car , it , s factory airco , not a underdasch unit !
a can have the hole airco setup for trading with a muffler, [ i must do instal it too ] seems too me a good deal ?
btw i got a full tunnel console , so i cant do a underdasch unit ,must use aftermarket dasch blowers ?

please some tips ore howto , wat parts a realy need and wat parts to left into the car , seems to me a must leave the hole blower box also into the car , the 67 and 66 are differend ! can do no switch !

I'm going to take a stab at this......
I think the '67 mustang dash is way too different from the '66 dash to make installing the in dash air conditioner an easy task. IF you decide to tackle this project, I'd remove everything that unbolts from the dash & maybe even cut the dash out of the donor car. This way you would have all brackets, wiring harness, heater/air conditioning box, etc. to complete the project.
Remember to save the hoses, compressor & brackets, reciever/drier & crankshaft pulley from the donor car.
This is going to be a very involved project.
On a related note: I know a guy that cut down & installed a '55 Chevy dash in a '66 Nova. Looks like it belongs there.....

8) 8) the airco is comming out of my friends 67 mustang cabriolet , daily driver , i think he would not like it when i,m cutting in his dash !
al the in the engine parts are no problem , but my problem is the heather box with blower, i want to leave the orginal 67 in the car , i think i,m gone make myself a complete blower box unit for a 66,
