All you falcon guys I need some help

My girlfriends dad has a 63' falcon with a 170 and 2-speed automatic. He wants to put like a C-4 on instead. Will a C-4 bolt up to a 63' 170 or is there something that will work. He wants to stick with an automatic so a T-5 conversion is out. Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks.

I remember a thread sometime ago. It stated alot of adapting was required. Jus sayin'..ZZ

8) you need a small bell C4 with the proper flex plate, and a C4 crossmember available at a number of suppliers like auto krafters.

Rbohm's got the major hard parts covered, other than that, you'll need a shorter driveshaft or find one that's about 53" center to center on the caps, a C4 slip yoke, fab some shift linkage and kickdown and you should be set.
