FSPP's new Alloy Valve Cover
The foundry was suppose to start casting on Monday, but they jumped ahead of schedule and got started on them last week, completing most of the order. They will be finished casting by this coming Wednesday and will be sent to the blaster no later than Friday. Media blasting with steel shot removes the tiny flaws, and gives a nice even texture to the casting.
For those not aware, FSPP is taking pre-orders and giving a $25 discount if paid by January 31st. Delivery will be sometime late Feburary. You can order them raw, fully polished, or powder coated in your choice of twelve standard colors. You may also specify a special powder coat color, by suppling the manufacturers name and the color number.
