not that i know of unless you make one... I think you would have to make one yourself, personally i'd go for the AC as I cna see an advantage fo getting it away from the exhaust side heat
I have such an animal in my garage. It was on my car when I got it. It mounts the A/C compressor on the drivers side laying down but tilted up just a little. It is aftermarket I believe because it has the name Impco stamped into it.
I will have to look into that company. I have had my original AC restored by classic auto air so id have to make sure my modern AC compressor. Otherwise would you consider selling this monstrosity of which you speak?
Hadnt really thought about selling it. It is made to use a Tecumseh compressor. So if you have a Sanden style you would still have to fabricate mounts to fasten it to the bracket I have.
I looked into this some time ago but ran into a dead end. I was going to try and modify the P/S bracket but that would just entail more work than fabbing one.
There is an adaptor bracket for the Sanden compressor. It is slotted and would sit horizontally. The 3 holes(sometime 2 on earlier engines) up front on the driver's side are used for the P/S mount.
My plan is to utilize those holes and mount a flat bracket with an arm coming out towards the inner fender assembly, then weld the Sanden mount to it.
Has anyone looked at adapting the brackets from a 300? The main bracket bolts to the left side of the block then has another bracket that attaches to it that sits flat for mounting the compressor above the power steering pump. Might be something to look into
