alternator bracket help!

I'm trying to put a gm alternator in my car. I have the standard Delco 12si (94 amp) and I'm doing the three wire hookup as recommended by M.A.D. electrics which seems a waaaay better way to go than the one wire. however, I can't figure which brackets to use or where to get them. The engine is a 200 out of a '69 falcon, I believe. Any bracket suggestions?? All ideas welcome.

8) i just installed an alternator in my falcon. i go the bracket from auto krafters, $20, and a 55 amp ford alternator from auto zone, $50 iirc, and also a one wire conversion kit from auto krafters, $40. the upper generator bracket worked perfectly so i now have an extra one. the one wire conversion kit also worked perfect, so far as i have never used one before so i dont know about the durability of them, but they are rated for a maximum 55 amps. as for the gm alt, if the lower mount is the same width as the ford, then the bracket from auto krafters is perfect. you just need a 4" long 7/16" bolt with fine threads. www.autokrafters.com is the website. i found that if you install their lower bracket on the alt first, it makes it easier than trying to put the bolt in while holding the alt and lining up the holes. at least the first time.

FalconFanatic,
I have to replace my turn siganl switch first and if that fixes my turn signal problem, I'll be ready to move onto the alternator swap. I too am following the MAD instructions. I have the bracket (it's a new bracket from N.A.P. to incorporate both the alt and a/c compressor) and the GM 3 wire alternator. I'm a little confused on the wiring since I'm opting to save the $30 from MAD and wire it myself. If you are too, please advise on your success.

I do have the schematics offered by fellow fordsix.com members. I'll use those although they are a bit confusing to me.

LaGrasta,
Won't get to it until next week, but it looks pretty easy. I'll post my experiences and any tips I may come up with once I get done.
