Neil bates automotive (ACT) custom make ADR compliant braided lines.

They charged me $90 per line for my bike fitted.

Have a look at street machine Nov. 03- you can buy a kit to get complete front brakes from AU11-on to fit on falcons up to XF. Twin pot calipers, big discs, all genuine ford parts except the hub I think. Also McPherson slut front end and r&P steering to replace the trusty old bendix-bishop box. About bloody time they did some features on real cars!

Revalation Racing Supplies does awsome front end suspension and steering conversion kits to give your Falcon, Mustang et al new-car handling:

I have also noticed that the Bedford CF is IFS. I don't know how they handle though.

The answer is "Bloody Awsome"
(I put about 120,000km on a Bedford van in the early 90's)
The whole Bedford front end also bolts in with two plates to the chassis rails and two castor rods running aft.
Would probably be a pretty good conversion for a Transit - R&P steering, probably exactly the right width too...

That sounds like a viable conversion. The biggest problem would be getting the Falcon wheels to fit. The Transit has Falcon wheels all round and Falcon brakes at the moment.

On the issue of braided lines, I recently found that I needed new lines on my 1962 Peugeot (original lines, and perished bad) so I rang around here in Hobart, and found ordinary lines for $38, non compliant braided for $50, and compliant braided for $100.

I think you can do a Ford wheel conversion to the Bedford front end pretty easily - there is a Bedford guru at Loganholme near Brisbane who could probably help you out...
