Stock Bosch distributor used from 1965 to 1980 on non cross flow and iron head cross flow
(76-80). Great because they use the larger 530 thou pilot hole shaft size. Won't fit pre 1965's US engines, but the later Bosch electronic (Aussie Duraspark) ones for the 1980 to 1985 alloy head XD/XE engines went back to the pre 65 pilot size of 495 thou.

I offered a used one for free to a good home, but haven't had much interest.

X will this fit my us 68 200? Is it better than a dui /duraspark? Or is it more like a petronix which I already have. It seems like a good price even having it sent here. Can this be wired like a dui with the hot wire and a relay? I know this is a lot but it may be an option for me. Thanks John.

I don't think it will fit. The shaft will be smaller than the US version. It will drop in, but the shaft will be unsupported and that could cause problems with the distributor drive gear and oil pump drive.

You can use a small cap instead of the large one on a DII if the look is important to you.

Do I have to use the DS11 box? Can I wire it with a relay like a dui? I really dnt like look of the ds11 with the box and i dnt want to destroy my factory wiring. I dont mind the big cap as much as I dnt like that stupid ds11 box.

You can also use a small cap on a DSII or just look for a DSI unit (1975 & 76) to keep a stock look, As for a control box you can use lots of differ types besides the DSI or II, like MSD, a Mopar, or the GM unit. If you do some custom wiring you could even hide the box so it's not showing. Check gofastforless.com for some of them

So according to that site I can just use the gm module. Do I need to remove the resistance wire? I think that I could make this look neat and probably do it fairly cheap. I would do this like this weekend if it can work

Yes or you could just leave it there and run a new wire but you want a ful 12V for the GM Mod to work right

I like the Mopar box too. The stock one works well and there's a kit with all the plugs that makes it easy to hook up.
