are the studs on 51 226 rods replaceable, OR

are they forged together as a unit? I was wondering if they are threaded into the rod or what?

I have one rod that the threads are not in the best of shape.

As far as I know all the Flathead Ford engines 4, 6, or V8 were made that way were the bolt was part of rod. You may be able to restore the threads?

THANKS; the 254 (flathead "M", 6 cyl) rods had bolts and nuts that were completely removable from the rods.
