First, can someone please post ARP's website address?

250 six out of my 70 Maverick is in pieces on the garage floor. Planning a complete rebuild, not looking for power, just want to stay stock.

Since the engine is almost 33 years old, any opinions on replacing stock parts with ARP head bolts (& washers) and rod bolts? I'm not an engineer and have no knowledge of problems, if any, stemming from the use of 30+ year old fasteners. In a previous thread someone said ARP head bolts and washers cost something like 50 bucks. Figure another 50 for rod bolts. Sounds like cheap insurance on a complete rebuild.

Ideas/comments?

Thanks. Tom

8) you can get any arp bolts you need through your local speed shop. just bring them a sample of what you need.

Yea, I have ARP 289 rod bolts in mine. My local speed shop fixed me up with them. I wonder if they could get me some head and main studs?
