Aussie 2v carbi ???

G'Day all, was wondering if anyone knows the cfm flow rate of the original Aussie WW stromberg 2v carbi. I am planning an original 250 2v rebuild with mild cam, C4 & 8 3/4" diff 3.50 gears to go into my XT falcon soon and am in 2 minds whether i should ditch the stomberg for a 350 holley....in which case i'll have hood clearance issues. Any ideas would be good to hear. Thanks

I can't remember offhand, but feel it was in the low 200s.

If "David the 2nd" can be found on the 'net, he might know. (Holden guru, whose phone number used to end in 153624...) Try the Torana forums first if you do look for him.

A 350 would probably offer no gains and worse economy. Some people fitted 500s, but they would have been thirsty and best at heavy pedal operation.
