Except for the removable intake manifold Aussie 250-2v heads are almost identical to the US head. They even use hte same exhaust manifold.

Same procedures apply to install as US head. Most people I know installed head with intake and exhaust already installed as some of the intake bolts can be a bear to get to in the car.

Thank you so much.do you have a good source to find one of these, before i go out on my own.?

Hey Joe,

Where you goin' with that gun in your your hand? 8)

No, more seriously, the head CCs will need adjusting. From the factory, a 2V head is close to 60CC whereas your 170 combustion chambers are more like 48-49. Something to factor in, along with the usual head swap caveats.

Regards, Adam.

Good point Addo, forgot about the combustion chamber difference.

Although it is worth pointing out the new Classic Inlines Aluminum head has much more pwoer potential and is available.

You can contact Mike at Classic Inlines or message him here since hes also the General Operations Director.

not to bring this one back from the dead, but ive also wandered about a good source for the aussie head.

Try posting a "Wanted" advert here.

Not many of them left in Australia!

I would strongly suggest the Alum. head. I just spent $1200 on my aussie head and that dosent include the cost of the head. I would have been better off with Mikes head.

where you at smokingun. I'll sell you mine, as soon as I can get my hands on one of the aluminum ones. Mind you it won't be cheap.
