Aussie or Argentine

Can someone explain the differences between these two 200 engines? Is there any advantage of one over the other? Thanks in advance.

Don,

The difference in concern is with the cylinder heads used on those engines.

Each have their small differences, but they offer the same basic thing: a removeable intake for much improved breathing. The Aussie head and the US heads can interchange exhaust manifolds, so that's a plus. However, they are getting rather scarce to find, and in well used condition when they turn up. Argentine heads use different manifolds, but are currently being re-produced.

If you need more specifics on the Argy heads, send me a PM.

So by the above post, can I assume that its near impossible to get a hold of either head if I wanted it in the next couple of weeks?

PM aushead

i talked with him a week or so ago, at the time he had at least one Oz head in stock
so it'll just take shipping to get to ya, should run you 'round $850 for the Oz head, it should need a rebuild too
