Autolite 1100 or 1101 Lokar conversion?

I know Bob the Builder has done one; has anyone else used the Lokar cable throttle conversion on an Autolite 1100 or 1101? If so, do you have a picture of how the brackets, etc, hooked up?

I am thinking of just biting the bullet and purchasing the pedal, throttle cable and kickdown cable including the brackets and making them work. If someone has experience with this set up I'd appreciate knowing how to do that without plunking down the $300 on it.

You're pretty good with the pic (seen on your other thread).
Can U show what U got now?
There's several guys here came up w/something & placed their results
(pic) on the forum. Best was simple & on a blue Falcon...
a lill heat on the arm on the peddle side of the fire wall & a 4" piece of
flat stock/few holes drilled for screws @ the carb...

Okay, here are some pics. BTW, that stock linkage is from another car. Right now I have no linkage whatsoever, and I've tried about half a dozen other things and they do not work.

You'll note the carb position is further back than stock.

And instead of the rod actuating the arm vertically, the arm actually goes transverse of the engine.

It starts just fine, and I can adjust the idle, make it rev, etc by hand, but no joy on getting the stupid linkage/cable to work.

see cross post on other thread (has same pic.s).
(for me same Q on several separate threads gets confusing... may B
shut down the other or keep it on what ever topic it started as??).

"...further back than stock...."
doesn't matter, U cut the inner cable to size (the outer as well for that matter).

What's going on for your peddle? Do you have that "cable-ized" ? May B able to leave as it and start at firewall w/"cable conversion"?
