autolite 1100

need help finding a float for my autolite 1100, thanks

I have never seen the autolite one listed, only the carters and holleys. You may have to look for a used one or maybe try pony carbs? There is usually several used ones on ebay but I just looked and there is not much to choose from at the moment.

Pony carbs does sell parts, I think the float is ~$15, but they have a $20 minimum parts order.

That link looks like every other auto parts store. I see Carter & Holley but no autolite 'F-1'. Or did I miss it?

Dang it! I was sure I saw one there...must been the coffee making my eyes read "YF" as "F1"...

whats wrong with yours?

If you're not feeling comfortable with lead and a soldering iron yourself, try a shop thats specialized in restoring brass instruments; should be no big deal for them to fix or reproduce a carb float.

thanks for all the replys, mine developed a leak in the seam so i soldered it, i didnt think it would be a hard item to find, again thanks for all the replies
