Automatic choke dilemma...

Just a quickie, i'd like to use an original 250 2v stromberg with auto ckoke coil on my resto motor and was wondering if the choke setup is any good, thats the one where you have 2 heater tubes coming from the middle exhaust port to the carbi. Has anyone used this setup & is it efficient? If it's a pain in the backside, i'll have to opt for the manual choke. Thanks guys & gals.

I personally prefer the manual choke, as it gives you a little more control if your motor is a bit temperamental on occasion.

I'm about to put a new 4bbl holley on my 2v and will still be going the manual choke. It should be just as easy for you as your choke cable is right there so its just a matter of hooking it up and away you go
