what cause a back fire through the carb? i am asking because i do not want another carb lost from something i may have been able to avoid. thanks Aaron
Retarded timing, burned valve, sticking lifter. Run a vacuum check; it can pinpoint some of these problems. Most maintenance books will tell you how to interpret vacuum readings.
