well its been a while since ive read or posted here at the forum. So now i got a few questions concerning The Comet. The engine(250) is running fine but when i change oil (3000 mile) i also check the plugs and i am noticing ash deposits on all plugs, heavy on three of them. Also slightly wet with oil. Now, I am i correct in assuming the is because i am burning oil from leaky valve seals or some other place? The oil usage isnt really beyond normal and i only get a really faint black smoke when i put the pedal down in park (To clarify, only when i push on the pedal hard, not when i hold it.) Is this indicative of a serious problem or am i OK? The timing was set by a shop im guessing to original specs. Could this have anthing to do with a recently added durasprk system. Also is the .050 gapping correct? Thanks for your help and im glad to be back
