I've just had first miles with the new driveline after blewing the old one last October. New set up is:
- Rebuilt 68 block (thanks 80Stang): .030"+Comp cams 260H + ARP bolts
- Rebuilt 66 head: milled, K-lined, machined seats
- Duraspark II-conversion
- new 9" clutch
- 2.77 to BW T-10 4-speed conversion
Idle is a bit rough but response of the engine is already far ahead of the old one. What makes the real difference is the transmisson. It so nice to accelrate and just load the gears
I think that the car feels faster now than it is.
