baffled oil pan source??

Does anybody know where I can get a baffled or deep sump oil pan for my 200 (in a 63 falcon body)?? I lose pressure under heavy braking, and with my new found power might find the same problem under acceleration. Engine is being rebuild right now and the machinist is estimating three hours labor to baffle my pan, so he sugests there might be a cheaper alternative on the market. Mike doesn't carry them anymore, and I can't find any used ones at this time.

I noticed the same thing with mine, mainly if I'm forced to brake hard going down an off ramp. It's not enough to trigger the 'idiot light', but I can see the pressure drop on my mech. oil gauge. Let me know if you find a new source.

Moroso used to have a kit for the do-it-yourselfer to do this. You can look at their website to see if they still have it available. It could give you some ideas to perhaps a lesser expensive alternative. You might even look at ebay to see if you can find a cheap dirt track pan off of any engine type to cut the sump and baffles off of to modify your pan with....just an idea.

Check with Does10s', he modified the pan on Kellys' falcon using sump kickouts etc.

I forgot to take pics, but on the 200 in the Locost I added two sheet metal baffles, about 1.5" wide, across the width of the pan, at the front and rear of the sump. They are horizontal to the ground and are just tack welded in. I put them in to keep oil from running up the front or rear of the pan on accel or decel.
