Has anyone baffled a stock oil pan. I plan to do it before I install my new bottom end. Pics would help.

when i set out to build our pans, a deep pan with a turned down edge to allow the oil to run down and a small round fence to keep the oil around the pickup that has been relocated to the bottom of the pan. add a a scraper to the side and finish with a mesh screen on the back 4 mains. 8 qt minimum, check the dipstick to calibrate. easy, just need a mig welder, a sheet metal shear and brake, and some talent, and voila! saves the motor, too. our new engine has a milodon swinging pickup and an external pump and is fed through the filter outlet, thank chrysler!!

I liked Peugoet Bills too

Right side up, it sure takes care of the volume shortcommings.

There are other ways of raising capacity.
The trick is keeping to oil in the oil galleries by stopping windage and speeding up its return.

Nice work fellas.

Make sure that the dipstick goes into the sump and not deflect off the windage tray and hit the crank! Did that once, though I had a major problem on start up.
