I recently purchased a 200 6 to replace the one in my dad's 66, it's gonna be his Christmas present after I rebuild it. I was getting ready to start on it, and I noticed that the block was a 65. This is the problem, several years ago he put a different tranny in there because his 3 speed kept dying. The transmission is a RAT T 013301, which supposedly fits a 68-69 V8 Comet, Falcon, or Fairlane. The bellhousing is supposedly from a 67 or later 200 6 with a 3 speed.

Can anyone tell me if this 65 block will definitely bolt up to this bellhousing? I'd hate to rebuild this thing and then not even be able to use it. :( I have some more information on the clutch and throwout lever and some other things he used if needed. Thanks in advance.

I can only see 2. One at about 1:00 and about 7:00 from the front. If there were 3, one would have to be pretty well hidden around 2 - 5:00 between the starter and the block.
