I was just wondering if anybody has any suggestions on a air cleaner. I ordered a Ford Racing 13" air cleaner from MustangsPlus.com, but it doesn't fit and is too big. I would like something small so it doesn't cover up the whole engine and you can actually see the work I've done.

Thanks,

K&N makes a nice little adaptor for the Weber DGV series carburetors. It allows you to mount any air cleaner with a 5 1/8" base to it. Now, you have many options.

Thank for the help. Are you certain that it will fit the 5200?

Thanks

Forget the K&N adapter. I just called advanced auto and they want $79.00 for it, I think I could make one before spending that much.

You need the 10" Ford Racing Air Cleaner. I think that is what you are talking about right? Not that the base doesn't fit but it is just too big overall?

u sell any of those Mike??? how bout valvecovers?? i may be in the states in July...just wondering...

Call Tom Langdon, at 586-739-9601, ( stoveboltengineco.com ), he has a nice small round airfilter, spun aluminum cover, and a base adapter made of aluminum plate. He also sells rebuilt Holley-Weber carbs.

No matter what air cleaner lid/ base you´re running, I´d always suggest K&N filter element (or any other quality oil-impregnated cotton-gaze filter element).

Thanks. I actually made an adapter this weekend. I'll post some pics later. I already have the Ford Racing 13" air cleaner. I seems a little big, but I am going to try and make it work.
